Path & Photoshop Masking Delivery
To take full advantage of our services with very quick turnaround time, please follow these steps. First, please send us a low resolution, preferably a medium JPEG file generated from the high resolution file to CEI FTP server. CEI provides special customized ID and Password to insure that only the client can access the files to and from the FTP server. For large volumes of images, special software is available for speedy conversion of multiple high resolution TIFF or PSD to JPEG format. For further help, please ask us to get information of such software that will suit your need.
After getting your JPEG images, we will work on the files and notify you about the delivery. Please download the finished JPEG files embedded with paths. Open the JPEG file in Adobe Photoshop and select the "Path Tab" residing beside the "Layer Window". Also open your High Resolution PSD or TIFF file side by side. Click and Drag the Path on the JPEG File to the High Resolution PSD or TIFF file.
CEI completes the paths and uploads the files on the FTP server normally within 12 hours depending on the number and complexity of the images. The client downloads the files and the clipping paths are placed over the high resolution TIFF or PSD files at the client's location automatically by simply using the "drag and drop" functions. Please note that, there is no risk whatsoever in quality, accuracy or other issues of the original files or the paths.
