Create a new document with size 1000 x 500 pixels with the black background. After that choose font, size, color for writing. I chose Veranda, 120pt, and text color white and bold the text. Create a new layer on top of the background layer and named it Gradient. Set foreground color to white into the gradient tool. Press Ctrl key, then click on text layer thumbnail for create a selection.

Now select gradient layer and duplicate it through Ctrl+J. And paste into a new layer and named it gradient letter. Make them invisible to press on eye. Then color the letters. For this select rectangular marquee tool, click intersects and reselect the text. And draw a rectangle outside of the first letter. This will make E letter. Now on top of the gradient layer create a new layer and named it color letter. Change blend mode to screen and filled the selected letter with the color. By this way filled every letter with an individual color.

With 60% layers set fill value for gradient and colored layers. Duplicate it and select original colored layer through go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur then set radius to 5 and do it also for original gradient layer.

Marge 4 layers together and creates selection from the text layer. On top of all layers create a new layer call it Rope. And draw a path. Select a brush and set size to 3 pixels. Then select a pen tool, right click on the path which we already create. Then duplicate rope layer and select the original one. Apply Gaussian blur filter again. Rotate and move the letter to place on rope. Use brush and erase some place on rope.
